Retraction: “MicroRNA‐184 inhibits proliferation and promotes apoptosis of human colon cancer SW480 and HCT116 cells by downregulating C‐MYC and BCL‐2,” by Yong‐Bing Wang, Xiao‐Hui Zhao, Gang Li, Jun‐Hua Zheng, Wei Qiu, J Cell Biochem . 2018; 1702‐1715: The above article, published online on 07 August 2017 in Wiley Online Library ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcb.26330 ) has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
