Retraction: “Evaluation of the circulating MicroRNA‐495 and Stat3 as prognostic and predictive biomarkers for lower extremity deep venous thrombosis,” by Nai‐Xuan Li, Jing‐Wu Sun, La‐Mei Yu, J Cell Biochem . 2018; 5262‐5273: The above article, published online on 21 December 2017 in Wiley Online Library ( https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/jcb.26633 ) has been retracted by agreement between the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party. A detailed investigation revealed that several image elements of the experimental data were published elsewhere in a different scientific context. Thus, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
