Organometallic chemistry of silver and copper <i>N</i>‐heterocyclic carbene complexes

AbstractThe only stable organometallic carbene complexes of silver and copper are those of N‐heterocyclic carbenes, since formally these robust divalent carbon ligands bind only by a σ donor interaction to the metal.
