ABSTRACT The development of power electronics technology has led to higher efficiency, lower loss, and higher density in energy conversion systems, and its application to electromagnetic nondestructive testing is expected to contribute to carbon neutrality. This paper presents eddy current testing and magnetic particle testing as examples of electromagnetic nondestructive testing that applies power electronics technology.
