AbstractKostiainen and co‐workers claim to have prepared crystals of ferritin by “electrostatically bridging” the protein with a cationic pillar[5]arene. Questions remain regarding the contribution of the pillar[5]arene to protein assembly and the putative role as a molecular glue.
